In my work, I focus on the here-and-now of the therapeutic relationship as a living space where unconscious patterns, defenses, and relational expectations naturally emerge. Together, we pay close attention to what unfolds between us, allowing you to safely recognize how old dynamics show up in current relationships and to experience something different: a reliable, attuned, and trustworthy connection that supports real change.
I integrate psychodynamic and psychoanalytic thinking with EMDR to help the nervous system process overwhelming experiences while also making meaning of them relationally. I believe healing happens not only through understanding the past, but through new emotional experiences in the present.
Group therapy offers a powerful and dynamic extension of this work. In group, interpersonal patterns become visible in real time, providing a rich opportunity to explore how you relate, express needs, manage vulnerability, and seek closeness. If you struggle with intimacy, communication, or maintaining meaningful relationships, group therapy can offer both insight and corrective emotional experiences within a supportive, thoughtfully facilitated environment where growth happens through connection.
I’m a licensed psychologist with a Psy.D. from William James College in Boston. I completed my postdoctoral training as a staff psychologist at Montclair State University and later worked as a licensed psychologist at Cal Poly Humboldt in the majestic coastal redwoods of Northern California, before starting my private practice. Earlier in my career, I taught Spanish to middle and high school students, an experience that shaped my appreciation for slowing down, listening deeply, and helping people feel understood. Outside of work, I’m a dad to a three-year-old and enjoy skiing, biking, beach walks, cheering on the Florida Gators, and spending time with my family.
