You might be coming here carrying anxiety, depression, grief, stagnation, shame, or just the quiet sense that something in your life feels misaligned. If so, you're not alone — and you're in the right place.
As a therapist, I believe in meeting people where they are with presence, humility, and deep respect for each person’s story. My clinical lens is integrative and relational, grounded in values-based, person-centered care. I work collaboratively with clients to explore patterns and possibilities — always with the goal of helping you live a life that feels more meaningful, connected, and aligned.
I specialize in working with adult clients across the lifespan — particularly those who identify as BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, neurodivergent, older adults, creatives, and those navigating life transitions. My clinical foundation includes an eclectic integration of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Existential Therapy, Attachment Theory, Motivational Interviewing, and Psychodynamic work, among others. I also lean into Expressive Arts and Mindfulness approaches to support healing that engages the whole self.
I came to the counseling profession after decades of experience in social services and the arts — a path that’s shaped my deep respect for personal growth, resilience, and the many ways people make meaning from their lives. I earned my MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wake Forest University, where I completed clinical training at two diverse practices and worked with clients in individual and group settings across a range of identities and experiences. I am a NC Board Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate, and a Nationally Certified Counselor.
My own life has been shaped by transformation, advocacy, and creative expression, and I bring that same spirit into the therapy space. I know what it means to start over, to reimagine your life after loss or upheaval, and to claim your story on your own terms.
Outside the therapy space, you’ll often find me on the hiking trail, the dance floor, behind a guitar, or recharging near the ocean. Movement, creativity, and connection fuel me — and they often find their way into the work I do with clients.
If you're ready to take a step toward healing or self-discovery — or even if you’re not sure what that looks like yet — I’d be honored to walk with you.
